    Excel Automation (Access 2000)

    I am working on an application the opens a spreadsheet, runs the AutoOpen macro, and I would then like for the spreadsheet to be displayed.
    My problem is I can not find the command to have Excel "come to the front" and be visible. Is there a way from with in Access to have Excel become the active window?

    Thanks for any help

    If you create an Excel.Application object, you can set its Visible property to True:

    Dim objXL As Object
    Dim objWb As Object
    Set objXL = CreateObject("Excel.Application")
    Set objWb = objXL.Workbooks.Open("...")
    ...
    objXL.Visible = True

    That did the trick.
