Do you have an HourGlass action in the macro with argument Yes?

Try adding an HourGlass action at the end of the macro with argument No.

Are you really using a macro, or is this VBA code. If it's the latter, you can turn on and off the Hourglass cursor in code with
    DoCmd.Hourglass (True/False)
In a macro, you select the Hourglass action and then set it to Yes or No.
