    Save Flle Problem (Excel 2002)

    HI

Can anybody help with this error please. I have never seen it before, and don''t fully understand it, as I don't have any other file open unsaved or otherwise.

    Many Thanks

Re: Save Flle Problem (Excel 2002)

Normally, this message means that you have a formula that refers to another workbook that hasn't been saved yet, e.g.

    =[Book1]Sheet1!$A$1

To check if you have such formulas, see if Edit | Links... is enabled - if your workbook doesn't contain external links, this menu option is greyed out. If enabled, Edit | Links... should tell you what linkes there are, and let you break them if you wish.

If there are no external links, your workbook may be corrupt.

You may still be able to copy relevant parts of the workbook to a new workbook.
