Is there a hot key for creating folders in Windows?

sorry ... I was looking to create a folder from the desktop ... not from a specific app. Version 2003.

Added: moved to Windows 2003 forum in view of Mickey's reply.

You have posted this in the General Office Suite forum. Do you want to create a folder from within an Office application?
Which version of Windows, by the way?

About a month ago, Joe Perez provided this link that has links to tons of shortcut keys. I looked through the list and didn't see what you want, but you might want to try a few of the more obscure ones to see if it'll get you even close: Microsoft Products & Resources: Keyboard Assistance

Don't know of a hotkey you can right click on the desktop and select NEW. Then the menu should have 'folder' as an option.
