    setting up relationships (2003)

I've picked up a database from a client... they have been using it for a while and basically NEVER set the relationships up. I'm trying to do that for them now. We have 2 main tables; "1 tblDocNo" and "2 tblDocket". It is a "one to many" relationship. All the docket numbers should be in "1 tblDocNo". I've checked and added any Docket number in "2 tblDocket" to "1 tblDocNo" if needed. I still can't set up referential integrity. Is there a way using a query to check the docket numbers in the tables. Something like "IF [2 tblDocket]![fldDocketNo2] does not match (or appear) with (in) [1 tblDocNo]![fldDocketNo] add it ... ???

You can use the Find Unmatched Query Wizard:
    - Activate the Queries section of the database window.
    - Click the New button at the top of the database window.
    - Select Find Unmatched Query Wizard and click OK.
    - Select 2 tblDocket in the first step, then click Next.
    - Select 1 tblDocNo in the second step, then click Next.
    - Select the fields to compare (fldDocketNo2 vs fldDocketNo) in the third step, then click Next.
    - Select the other fields you want to see in the fourth step, then click OK.
    - If you want, modify the name of the query to be created, then click Finish.
