Saving Favourites between PCs (IE 5.5 -->)

Looking at <post#=421,992>post 421,992</post: > the method of transferring Favourites between PC's is very simple. My question is....

Through the years I have a Home PC, a work laptop, an old PC sitting under the desk and my work PC. Having not done this yet, if I go through the export method and save a favourites.htm when I import it to another one of the PC's will it append the favourites or over write them? I want to consolidate all my favourites I have collected through the years and get a final "useful" list.

Should create a new folder if needed or add to an existing folder.

That sounds like a very common sense answer ( I mean that nicely BTW) one I had not really thought of. So effectively I could create 2 new folders, import each of the existing favourite.htm files and the just rearrange them as I feel fit, <img src=/S/yep.gif border=0 alt=yep width=15 height=15> makes sense thank you.

I mean that if you have folders in your favorites when you export all the favorites and then import them any folders in the imported file which do not exist will be created and any folders that already exist will have the contents added. I think you'll get the option to overwrite existing links.
