Command Button (2000)

Is there a way to make a command button and keep it with a document, like with excel?

I have a macro that I would like to pass on to others and would like it to be in a blank document. Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks

Toolbar button? When you customize, change the "save in" drop-down control from Normal.dot to the document.

Hey thanks. Your macro works like a champ and so does the button. The Seabee's thank you. This will make sorting our personnel much easier in the future and will be less room for error as well.

    Thanks again.

Do you know much about excel?

I have an issue that I can't seem to fix. I have a spreasheet set up to break down the information from the document that you help me with earlier.

You strike me as one who knows quite a bit about code writing, so I though you might be able to help me out.

    Thanks

Another way to do this and I have done it for a simple work request form at work is similar to Jeff's idea but to just save the document as a Document Template (*.DOT).

This is especially useful if you want to email it or save it on a network folder. All the VBA/Macro's and command buttons will replicate when it is opened as a word.doc

It also stops by precious Normal.dot getting too cluttered

Please ask Excel questions in the Excel forum. Thank you.

I know hardly anything about Excel, but coincidentally I just bought the Apress book "Definitive Guide to Excel VBA" because it had a full-purchase-price-rebate at Fry's Electronics this past weekend. Don't wait for me to read it, though, it's huge and you can get a quicker answer on the Excel board.
