Show/Hide On at Open (VBA/Word/2002SP3)

I've taken just enough VBA to know this is simple, and it was just long enough ago that I can't begin to figure out where to start!

What I want to do it to have the Show/Hide (paragraph marks, etc.) turned ON at all times in a particular document.

If I can even get a hint I might be able to figure it out! )

Thank you!

I'm not sure whether you can save this with the document. Or should I say, it's seems unpredictable to what extent these settings carry over into the next session on one's own or a different computer. But this could be a place to start your investigation:

ActiveDocument.ActiveWindow.View.ShowAll = True

Switch to the VBA editor with [Alt]+[F11], doubleclick on the ThisDocument module and insert this little macro:

Private Sub Document_Open
ThisDocument.ActiveWindow.View.ShowAll = True
End Sub
