Knoppix Live CD cannot write to USB stick

Hello,

I am playing with the Live CD from Knoppix 3.8.
I've found that I cannot write to my USB memory stick, although it is recognized (I see an icon on my desktop "Hard Disk Partition [uba1]).
I've changed the properties to "Could Read & Write" for all users and disabled the "Read only" button.

Stil I'm getting the message "Could not write to /mnt/uba1/filename when trying to copy a file from my hard disk to the memory stick.

Any help ?

I found the answer !

I just needed to do a "right click" on the icon, choose "Actions" and select "Change read/write mode" (and confirm this).
Now I can copy files to the USB memory stick.
