    Todays date (2000)

I want a date field to default to today's date. I put now() but that gives me the time too. I put today() and it didn't like that. How do I get just the date?

Don has already answered your question.

A way to find out things like this is to look up a known function in the VBA help, and click See Also. If you do this for Now, you'll get a list of related functions. Date is one of them.
