organize by colors (2000/SP-3)

With an e-mail highlighted in the Inbox, I can click on Organize, Using Colors, and choose "Color messages from/sent to [Name] in >>Apply Color and be quite happy; however, I seem to run out of opportunities to make different colors before I'm finished

How can I make Outlook 2000 give me unlimited color choices?

You can't, you're limited to the list of colors you see.

I apologize for the confusion... I'm happy with the choices of color Outlook provides.

What I want to do is to be able to use the feature more than, say, 20 times or whatever the limit Outlook 2000 has set.

How can that be made possible?

From a newsgroup search, i get the impression that there is a hard limit that cannot be changed.

Wow, I thought everything could be changed with the right Registry or programming knowledge.

Somehow I'd like to think there's a 'Modify' key somewhere that can be increased like the key to increase they number of 'View' changes in Windows Explorer

No, many limitations in Office applications are hard-coded. There is no way to increase the number of rows or columns in an Excel worksheet, or the maximum page size in Word, etc.

And you can only eat so many pints of Ben & Jerry's before it starts to show
