    Wrong AutoCorrect List (OF2000)

    I use the Dutch version of Office 2000, and looked for a way to print my AutoCorrect entries. Over time, I made so many of them, so wanted to have an overview. I followed the strings here about how to print an AutoCorrect list, using the macros.exe prog on the ms site, resulting in a macros9.dot file.
    That worked only to a certain point: I got a full list of some 900 English autocorrect entries, not the Dutch list.
    Then I decided to change the language of the macros9.dot file, by selecting (ctrl a) all the text and setting dutch as the language. I repeated the procedure to generate a list, but my new list had only 11 items, all symbols. There was a Dutch word in the list, though: 'waar' instead of 'true' in the third column.
    Still would like to have a list. Any suggestions? Thank, Marc

    It had never occurred to me that more than one ACL could be active at one time, but your post suggests that the list might be "context sensitive" to the language at the insertion point. With that in mind, try something along these lines. Perhaps the first few lines could be integrated with the macro you are using?
    <code>
    Sub DumpMexicanSpanishAutoCorrectList()
    ' Change Normal Style to Mexican Spanish
    ActiveDocument.Styles("Normal").LanguageID = wdMexicanSpanish
    ' Create new Normal paragraph to dump into
    With Selection
    .EndKey wdStory
    .TypeText vbCrLf
    .ParagraphFormat.Style = wdStyleNormal
    .Paragraphs(1).Range.LanguageID = wdMexicanSpanish
    End With
    ' Dump all ACL entries
    Dim ac As AutoCorrectEntry
    For Each ac In Application.AutoCorrect.Entries
    Selection.TypeText ac.Name & vbTab & ac.Value & vbCrLf
    Next
    End Sub
    </code>

    (Of course, change to your language of choice... added: I didn't have any Dutch AutoCorrect entries worth testing in the AutoCorrect dialog...)

    ResolvedRe: Wrong AutoCorrect List (OF2000)

    You set me on the right track, although I did it a bit differently.
    I made a new macro creating a new document with Dutch as language.
    Then I used the macro editor to copy the text of that new macro into the beginning of my existing ListAutoCorrect macro.
    It should be easy, on the basis of macro's creating a new document in a specific language, to get an overview of AutoCorrectEntries in all the languages that are used.
    Thanks for your help, Marc
