    ch measurements (2003)

    Measurements in Word are set to centimetres, but they display as '1 ch' in, for example, the Tabs dialog. How can I ensure that all measurements are correctly displayed in centimetres? I've checked the Regional Settings and they are for the UK and metric. What is ch anyway? Thanks, Andy.

    Ch stands for characters. Try the following:
    - Press Alt+F11 to activate the Visual Basic Editor.
    - Press Ctrl+G to activate the Immediate window.
    - Type the following:

    Options.UseCharacterUnit = False

    - Press Enter.
    - Press Alt+F4 to quit the Visual Basic Editor.
