    Microsoft Fax Automation

Is there a way to include information for microsoft fax in options that do not require real-time interactive input, like command line switches or something. We want to be able to fax Word documents automatically based on information in the document.

According to <!mskb=289532>Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 289532<!/mskb>, you can do this using mail merge. Have a look and see if that article is enough to get you started.

Thanks, Stuart, but we need to have the information taken only from the Word document and not interacting with an address book. I did find a great piece of software called AutoDoc where it will monitor a directory, read each word document and if specific information is in the document fax it and even archive it as PDF. This is just a little overkill for what we need, so I was trying to simplify it, but AutoDoc is an option for us and likely what we will use.

I don't think that Word can do this without some sort of MAPI compliant FAX interface, as provided by Outlook for example.
