    Bookings DB (2000)

    Hello all, I'm considering a DB solution for car hire booking. I've come up against 2 items I don't know the answer too;
    1 - How can a data input form check that a vehicle has been booked, e.g. CAR! is booked from 1/1/06 to 7/1/06 & a booking is requested for 5/1/06.
    2 - I'd like to show (preferably on a form) something like a calender view showing the next 14 days, the cars, & where the cars are booked, these points are highlighted.

    Is this do-able?

    See Allen Browne - Clashing Events/Appointments for a technique to detect clashing appointments or bookings.

    Sorry I've taken so long getting back to you (life intrudes!) but thanks for the replies. I'm going to have to look closer at this project sometime later.
    Thanks again
