Attachment icon does not print (OL2K3)

I have a user that has a fresh install of XP Pro SP2 and Ofice 2K3 on new hardware. When printing an email, the little clip icon signifying an attachment does not print. I have as yet to find any info at all on this. Anyone have any thoughts? TIA!

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

In the original version of Outlook 2003, attachment icons weren't printed if the mail is in HTML format. It's supposed to be fixed in SP1 for Office 2003, see Attachment placeholder does not appear in printed HTML e-mail messages.

Re: Attachment icon does not print (OL2K3)

When I print e-mail in Outlook 2003 with SP1, I get the following results:
    <UL><LI>Plain text format
Last line of the message headers is "Attachments" and lists file names; document icons appear between the message headers and message body.

    <LI>HTML format
Last line of the message headers is "Attachments" and lists file names; no icons.

    <LI>Rich Text (RTF) format
Last line of the message headers is "Attachments" and lists file names; document icons are embedded in message body as placed by the sender.[/list]Does that match what your user gets?
