    database window not visible (2002 / 2000)

    Hi.
I have a database that I created in Access 2000. When a user opens it in Access 2002, they can not see the database window. The startup options are to show the database window, infact I have not changed any of the options within this dialog box from the default settings. How can I get them to see the database window?

    Any help much appreciated.

Go to the tool bar, select Window, and see if you can unhide the database window. Try to hide and unhide it as well. If that does not work see if holding down the shift key when starting the database will show the database window as there might be a macro or code hiding the window when it starts up.

Also, the window might be offscreen. Let the user try Window | Arrange...
