is there a way to stop outlook from popping up that message saying it's signing the email with the digital id?

Is this a digital signature, or some other form of digital ID?

If it's a digi sgnature, is the following setting checked: Tools | Options | Security | Add digital signature to outgoing messages. If it's checked, can you uncheck it and see if you no longer get the message. If you can't uncheck it, is this something enforced by your information service management?

Sorry, I can't help you. Is the message a warning that your recipients do not have digital sigs, as noted in the 'How to Send an Encrypted (Sealed) Message' section of <!mskb=286159>Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 286159<!/mskb>, or a routine Yes|No|Cancel message box?
