    Viewing Thumbnails

    I am working on a database that we will use to track photos in. There will be different directories for different topics, each containing the .jpg files. In each of the directories there is a .jpg file named after the disk and frame number of each picture taken. Right now we can only view one picture at a time on our search form. We would like to be able to view all of the photos on each disk at one time as thumbnails on a searchable form. I would really appreciate any help with this. I am not great at programming, but I can get around. Thanks for any help.

    can't help with the code, but there's a good freeware program at this site

    <A target="_blank" HREF=></A>

    called batch thumbs that should help with converting the .jpg's to thumbnails

    Another good thumbnailer is Smaller Animals.

    For the answer to your question I would buy Paintshop Pro and simply start the application from Access. I don't think I would try to thumbnail within Access.
