    Far East Batang Font

    Hello All!
Having a problem with a font called Far East Batang. I have it directly applied to a document and cannot remove it! Font Substitution is clear. I select the text, CTRL + spacebar and CTRL + Q and nothing works. The only way to remove this font is to cut the text out of the document, pastespecial as unformatted text, and then CTRL + spacebar! I directly applied this font to my text as a test but I never thought it would take this much to remove it!

Does anyone know why CTRL + spacebar won't remove this font? Any info. would help greatly! Thanks!

    Re: Far East Batang Font

Apparently, it "persists" not because it is such an unlikely font, but because you have applied it to the text once as a character style. Just mark the text and apply the "default paragraph font" style from the Format|Styles menu with All tyles selected in the dropdown box on that screen, if it is not visible.

    See if this works.
