How can I access the news reader?

More specifically, how can I access the news reader WITHOUT opening Outlook and going through the View menu?

It seems to me that it shouldn't be a big deal to create a shortcut directly to that EXE file. Unfortunately, I haven't a clue as to its name or even where it's located.

it's express with a news only switch. use either /newsonly or /outnews.

    should look like:
    "C:Program FilesOutlook Expressmsimn.exe" /newsonly

the switches only affect cosmetic things, like the title bar, it doesn't really matter which one you use.
