    Tree View (2002)

Hello all! very nice to make your aquaintences. It occurred to me the other day that there is something that i would like to have as a feature in a system that i am writing and that is to have my menu as a tree view control...the only thing is i have no idea how to do this being as i'm not a superior programmer and i am still learning an awful lot. What i would like to do is have all the forms in my database in a table in groups so that i can expand the group and open a form or report relative to that category. if any one can give me the code to do this i would appreciate it very much. i need it to read a table tho because i want to be able to edit the text. also assign icons to the nodes so if anyone knows where i can get some snazzy icons that would be kewl to! thanks. <img src=/S/bash.gif border=0 alt=bash width=35 height=39>

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

The TreeView control is not the easiest to use, because you have to do everything in VBA code. You'll find an example attached to <post#=256,570>post 256,570</post: >.

Icons can be found using Google, but watch out, many sites offering free icons use advertising popups etc.
