Suggestion

How about showing a person's signature on their profile page? Just a thought I had when I was trying to get my signature to look right, but the only way I could see it was to post a message.

This can be done over at the TEST board. It was set up JUST for things like this.
Check it out.

Re: Suggestion

True... BUT if you having problems with [] tags getting changed to <> tags every time you Submit your profile change, you have to re-enter the entire thing each time you attempt a repair action. If you could see what it's going to look like as you're trying to create it before submitting the profile change, it would make life a bit simpler.

For a work a round.
I think you could enter the same code in the body of the post and using preview you would see if it is what you want. Once you have this fixed cut and past it into you profile.

I've been thinking just that!
As soon as I've fixed the Sig code, I'll add that.

<font face="Comic Sans MS"><font color=red><font size = +4>G</font size=big><font color=blue>ENE<font color=red><font size = +4> O </font size=big></font color=red></font face=comic><font color=black>

Yes, that seems to work, but... as you can see, the 'big' tag is now too big.

I've seen posts from Eileen that she's aware of the problem.

Thanks,

Re: Suggestion

Checking 'big' as requested...

It looks like 'big' is not too big now...BUT, the '/big' tag seems to have been ignored.

Copied below is my signature text as it appears after submitting the profile change. (apparently doing the copy/paste converts the '<>' stuff back to '[]' stuff, so I've substituted ()s for []s )

(comic)(big)((red)G(/big)(blue)ENE(red)(big) O (/red) (/big)

<font color=red><font size = +2>E</font size=big></font color=red><font color=blue>eilee</font color=blue><font color=red><font size = +2>N</font size=big></font color=red>

It's ok in a post. The Sig bug hasn't been fixed yet.
