    Strange VB Error (VBA-Excel)

We currently have a DLL with an interface written in C++. We are calling it from VBA. On some machines we get a bad DLL calling convention error. On other machines it works fine. We are using the standard calling convention. Does anybody know why we could be getting this error? We ran it through a de###### and the stack is not being corrupted and the error remains.

Are all machines running the same version of Windows and all users have the same privilege level?

I've never seen this error, but judging from 121,000 hits in Google, it is not uncommon.

I assume you are testing with "known good" parameters on both machines to rule out any problems with the actual data.

Any chance that some other object you are instantiating is making the DLL call directly so that you have not been looking at the code which has the problem?
