Microsoft Access Error message (Access 2000 & 2002)

    Hi there.

I have a Microsoft database that used is by users on Network. When trying to access the database the Microsoft Access 2000 users get the this message:
"MIS was unable to create the Database windows. Please upgrade to a newer version of Microsoft Internet Explorer. (MIS is the name of the database).

Where as Microsoft Access 2002 users get the following error message: Microsoft Access has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. The information you were working on might be lost. Microsoft can try and repair. Repair my open database and restrt Microsoft Access. I managed to sor out the problem, i repalced the MIS database with the back up file (backup for the database is done automaticlly), does anyone know what causes error messages.

    Thanks,
    Skender..

It sounds like the database got corrupted.

See the links in <post#=508,067>post 508,067</post: > for tips on preventing corruption in the future.
