I have Excel 2000 SR1a installed.
I have had a problem several times where a spreadsheet created in Excel 97 when opened in Excel 2000 comes up repeatedly with the message 'No more custom number formats can be added'.
I understand what this means. What I don't know if there is any way that the amount of custom number formats can be increased. What, if any are the physical limitations surrounding custom number lists?
All help appreciated.
