    Duplicate a CD (Home/SP2)

    Afternoon -

I have a CD with 3 Folders, eight files that I want to copy to another CD. I don't see any option such as Duplicate CD, so do I have to copy these 11 items to, say, Desktop and then copy them to a new CD?

Thank you (this will be a rare event, so I don't want to buy any program to do this....)

For a quick and one off job like this, it probably the easiestway of doing it. I find I sometimes spend more time reading the manual than it would take to do the job. So, yes, copy to desktop and reburn <img src=/S/cheers.gif border=0 alt=cheers width=30 height=16>

Looks like this is how you must proceed. Windows' native CD recording capabilities do not include a "Copy" or "Duplicate" CD. See <!mskb=282491>Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 282491<!/mskb>

    Thanks, Jerry.

Yes, I spent quite some time looking for confirmation of this method before posting.

    Burn I shall,
