Recalc is not working with validation! (Excel 2000>)

    Hi,
In the attachment is a workbook that has a List Validation in the H column. When I select a new person from the list the I and the Vlookup in the J column are not recalculating on the new value from the list??? Why!

How can I get this to work?
    Tx

    Rudi

The sheet you attach has calculation set to "Manual".Press <f9> to update

    OR
    Tools - option - calculation(tab)
Click on Automatic to have it updated automatically.

<P ID="edit" class=small>(Edited by Jezza on 16-Aug-05 12:08. To match in with Steve's answer for auto calculate as my suggestion required a macro)</P>Rudi, You donit need Column I

    Just this

    =VLOOKUP($H7,'BC Details'!$A$2:$D$230,2,false)

Then Stev's suggestion for the auto calculate

    Yo Jezza,

I know I "donit" need column I. I just addied it to test why it was not recalculating! Thanx for your input!
    Cheers

    Rudi
