    As far as I could determine, after Clear All is selected, Undo won't "undo" the items....

    (By the way, I cleared out the duplicate post, sorry for any confusion.)

    I think there are ways to develop your own Task Panes, but I'm not sure you can replace the ones supplied by Microsoft. If you have a really, really strong interest, a visit to MSDN might help.

    Alternatively, you could try to intercept the Clear All button somehow and change its behavior. I'm not sure this is possible with the new Task Pane, as it probably would have been with the old toolbar... I certainly don't see any obvious way to get at it.
