Word 2000 SR-1
After poking around for a while in Help, I found SaveDate. The example it gives is:

Document last changed: { SAVEDATE @ "d MMMM yyyy 'at' HHmm 'hours' " }
---
When I paste this into my header, it just sits there - no date formatting happens, and Print Preview shows exactly that example text.

The curved brackes are the field enclosures, and should not be copied. If you key Ctrl+F9, and then paste what's between the curved braces, you should see what you're looking for.
