    Invalid page fault (97 sr2)

I get an IPF in and unknown module whenever I try to change and save the name of a form in my VB code. Any ideas

    Thanks
    Cathy

First, try to compact and repair your database (Tools | Database Utilities).
If that doesn't help, can you post an example of the code you are using?

Also: does the problem persist after rebooting your PC?

I repaired and compacted it. I also shut down the computer and then restarted. It is still happening. Here is the code. All I am trying to do is changethe report name in case 3.

    I don't understand what

    And Me![FrameChoice] <> 5

is for in the If ... Then line - if FrameChoice is null, it cannot be equal to 5 anyway. Apart from that, the code looks OK. Perhaps your database has become corrupt. You can try creating a new blank database and importing all database objects from the problem database into the new one. you'll have to set the startup options anew, as well as any non-standard references in VBA, if you have them.

You could also see if you have a recent backup that doesn't exhibit the problem.

I think I found the problem. After doing everything you suggested and still getting the error I proceeded to pull the form apart. I have a dropdown with a complex if statement in it. That if statement seems to be causing the problem with the entire form.

I hope you'll be able to get around it.
