Viewing Document in Print Layout does not show all (Word XP)

I've attached a document that, on page 2, has some text that does not appear until you change your view to normal, or if you use Ctrl+arrow right on the last visible word on page 2. Then the last two sentences "show up". When you are scrolling through the document, typically you cannot see the last two lines of the end of the last paragraph on page 2. Has anyone seen this behavior before?

Word seems to have become confused, I suspect it has something to do with the line spacing, but I don't have an explanation. If you select all text starting at "You have asked for our analysis" to the end of the document, set line spacing to single (in Format | Paragraph...), then set it back to double, all text will be displayed.

There is nothing wrong with your page setup or paragraph formatting. When you place your insertion point at the beginning of the paragraph at the bottom of page two and use Ctrl+Shift+DownArrow, the rest of the paragraph appears (or the selection continues into the next paragraph, which is incorrect.

I think your document is corrupted. Try copying all but the last paragraph mark into a fresh document. Other approaches to rescuing the contents of a corrupted document (while preserving formatting) including saving as RTF and saving as a Web Page.

Jefferson thanks I really appreciate that tip. When I converted it into RTF and opened it, the text can be seen just fine without having to mess with the paragraph. I then saved it again as a Word Document and the "fix" stayed. Thanks again.
P.S. I noticed you are an attorney. I work at a law firm as a software trainer. It's good to see an attorney as a Word geek. I wish I could convince more attorneys to share your love of Word. <img src=/S/compute.gif border=0 alt=compute width=40 height=20>
