    Modify Outlook favs (Outlook 2003)

How can I modify my Outlook favourites? I edit the look of my favourites, right click on a folder, select 'add to favourites' and although the folder is added to my faviourites, when I close & reopen, all is as it was.
How do I make it permanent?
    Thanks in advance.

Not sure I understand what you are doing - do you have the Favorites menu added to your Outlook Toolbar? When you click on it, you get a drop-down and cascading menus of your Favorites, correct?

I don't have the problem - I can Add to Favorites from the Add to Favorites Toolbar in Outlook or in IE, and the URL is added and available under either application.

HOWEVER the oddity about using the Favorites Toolbar from within Outlook is that the Favorites are rigidly ordered alphabetically, where in IE you can structure Favorites in the order you want to see them. Could that be thre reason you are not finding something you added?

    Thanks for your reply John.

What I meant was that on the left hand side of my Outlook window I get a pane headed "MAIL' and there are two subgroupings: "Favourite Folders" and "All Mail Folders". When I right click on a folder in my

    I certainly went barking up the wrong tree. <img src=/S/laugh.gif border=0 alt=laugh width=15 height=15>

I don't have this problem and could not find any MS Knowledgebase references to such a problem. Are you sure you're not just running out of display room in the Favourites Folder section of the pane?
