    Outlook vs Express (2003)

I am in the process of upgrading from and old NT box, on which I used outlook express, to XP with MS Office 2003. I have both Outlook and Outlook Express running. I am not connected to an exchange server. I am looking for a good discussion on the pros/cons of each. Why should I use one over the other. I am sure this is out there somewhere, likely in one of the "Watches". Does someone have this info at their fingertips? Can you point me to it? Thanks.

If not, I will do a web search on my own.

As a side note, you may think it wierd that I am just now making the move. Why buy a cow if you get free milk. My employeer furnishes a laptop with XP all the software. I only have only used my home PC for the internet, e-mail and my monthly budget. I am in the process of change.

Outlook is more of a PIM, where OE is purely an e-mail and newreader client. See <!post=this thread,298502>this thread<!/post>, http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/olexpr.htm and <!mskb=257824>Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 257824<!/mskb> for more information.

Thanks. The comparison's made my decision easy. For me it is Express for home use.
