This sounds like an application for a GreaseMonkey script, assuming you use Firefox (or at least use it for this <img src=/S/wink.gif border=0 alt=wink width=15 height=15> ).

I haven't followed the nitty-gritty here, but if you want some sort of Lounge URL management capability, outside of the "orthodox", you might get some mileage by using a 3rd party app. I use the <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15> version of Terria Development - URLBase 5 Personal Edition for bookmark collections from all kinds of sites. It enables you to do things "your way", or gives you the capability when the site doesn't provide any such features.
