Date Merge Field Issue (Word 2000)

I downloaded and expanded 10-249902-DateCalc.zip, which gave me DateCalc 2_41a.doc, dated 3/22/05.
To insert a future date, which is 3 to 9 days from NOW, the macro did not work. It gave me wild dates.
I use Word 2000. Any suggestions, Please! Thanks.

I've had a look at your document and see that you've got some fields (not macros) for today's date, others that have calculated dates that are anything from 14 to 45 days in the future, plus some typed-in dates. I don't see any fields to calculate dates from 3 to 9 days in the future.

If you want a date that is 3 days hence, the 'Delay' parameter must be set to 3.

I see also that you're using fields coded for systems using dd/mm/yyyy in their regional settings, but you've got an address in the USA, which uses mm/dd/yyyy for regional settings. If your PC is indeed set up that way, you also need to change the field coding as indicated in the "Introductory Notes" under the heading "Date input/output formats" in the <!post=Date Calc,249902>Date Calc<!/post> document.

    Macropod,
Thanks for your feedback. Per your note, I changed my document on all eleven letters, and received the message, !Syntax Error, ^ .

Your instructions in detail read as follows: To use Word

    Hi Rick,

I am unable to explain why the instructions don't work for you - they work for me and for others here who have contributed to that document ...

Still, I'm happy that you've found an answer that resolves your problem.

    Cheers
