    Format Plot Area (Excel 2002)

    Hi

I a trying to format the plot area in a graph with a picture, but the options to stretch , stack, or Scale to are greyed out.

    Any advice please

As far as I know, the options to Stretch etc. are only available when you format a data series or data point in a bar chart or column chart. A picture for the chart area or plot area will always be stretched to fill the entire area.

You are correct. I was fussing with this Q until I noticed that its only available to the bar series when I attempted to format a bar in a column chartetc.

    Hi Hans

Thanks to you and Rudi, I don't know why I always try to do the impossible.
