    macro for PasteSpecial, Unformatted Text (Word 2003 SP1)

    I am trying to make a macro that will take text that I have copied from the web and paste it into my document as unformatted text. I do not know how to code... <img src=/S/confused3.gif border=0 alt=confused3 width=45 height=45> . When Word records the macro, this is what I get:

    Sub PasteSpecialUnformattedText()
    '
    ' PasteSpecialUnformattedText Macro
    ' Macro recorded 9/12/2005 by Georgette Grossman
    '
    Selection.PasteAndFormat (wdPasteDefault)
    End Sub

    But it does NOT function the same as if I did Edit, Paste Special, Unformatted text manually.

    Can anyone edit the macro language so it will work correctly??

    TIA,
    gg

    Heard from Hans directly and IT WORKS!!! Thanks!
    Try this:

    Selection.PasteSpecial DataType:=wdPasteText
