    Server Lock problem

We have a problem with locking servers, especially our Exchange servers symptoms are as follows:
    1. Enter Crtl Alt Del
    2. Select lock computer
3.The display is not locked, allowing full access to the server
    4. Enter a second Ctrl Alt Del
    5. Displays "This computer is locked" screen

This seems to have started since we patched ther servers

    Any information would be helpful
    Thank you in advance

    Hi,
Which OS are you using? Does Windows key+L work to lock them?

    Re: Server Lock problem

Another possible method is to run:

    rundll32 user32.dll,LockWorkStation

which you could set up as a shortcut/icon...

PS Though if there's a new, improved, bug introduced by a patch, then this method may not work properly, either!

    Ita, esto, quidcumque...

    Thanks for your information
Exchange 200 and Windows Key+L does not work on Windows 2000, it only works on Windows XP and Windows Server 2003
