Cannot save work to local drive (6.0)

When using NonEuclid (a mathematics drawing program) and I try to save the drawing to my local drive, the following Java Applet Window displays: "Security Exception: Your browser's Security Manager is not allowing NonEuclid to access your Local disk drive and/or your local printer. Some browsers (like Netscape 6.0 and newer) enable the user to specify whether applets are allowed to access local resources. . ."

Are you running this locally (installed on your PC) or over the Internet?

In Internet explorer try going to Tools | Internet Options | Security. Click on Local Intranet. Then Click on the Custom Level button. From the drop down try setting the Security Level to low. OK your way out.

When I do that, it does not "stick"; it reverts right back to medium-low.

Which version of IE are you using? For example, "IE6 with Windows XP Service Pack 2" behaves differently than "IE6 on Windows 2000," and there was a security patch not long ago that specifically affected (tightened up) the "My Computer" zone.

I Googled the error message and got only one hit in Portugese that I am having trouble deciphering the translated page. Maybe you can make something of it. I tried to include a link to the page or the Google search, but couldn't make the link work. Just copy and paste the entire error message into a Google search and then have Google translate the page (
