    Automatically addressed e-mails (Outllook XP/2003)

Relying on the lounge yet again! A while ago I had a custom menu set up in Outlook - it contained shortcut buttons to create new mail automatically addressed to my frequently used contacts (button set up for each contact if you see what I mean) I can't for the life of me remeber how I did it!!

I think it's something to do with adding a new menu first but then draw a blank! Any ideas gratefully received - I need this urgently for a project I have to complete by tomorrow!!

Perhaps you used <!profile=JScher2000>JScher2000<!/profile>'s technique in <!post=this post,311367>this post<!/post> and attached the OFT to a Shortcut?

(In that thread I see that the Posters' followup question wasn't answered. I think the simplest answer would be to embed the OFT file in the specific Contact record as an attachment, and to send a new customized message, open it from there - but I haven't tried it myself.)

Thanks John, but whatever I did seemed a lot easier than this! I seem to remember just dragging and dropping the e-mail to the new menu, but beyond that the grey matter gives up...

Very cool. Now I see it, I realize I have seen it before. Deju Vu all over again. <img src=/S/anigrin.gif border=0 alt=anigrin width=19 height=19>

A request: using these Lounge Tag codes, please make your link clickable:

    <!t><!/t>Automatically address an e-mail message<!t><!/t>

    which will show as:
