    Special Macro Icons (MSO 2003)

If I have a macro that calls say, FeedDemon from Outlook, and I add this macro as a menu item, is there a way to have the icon form the macro be the actual program's icon?

    Regards,

This is not automatic, but you might be able to do it yourself. If you right-click the toolbar area and choose Customize, then right-click your menu item, you'll see that you can display an image plus text, and that you can paste a button image or edit the one that's there. Note that these are the tiny 16x16 icons, not the larger sizes that sometimes appear on the desktop. I'm not sure how you would extract the icon if it doesn't conveniently appear elsewhere...

    Jefferson:

    You gave me the "trigger":

If you (through an icon editor) select the icon as if to edit it, copy the image to the clipboard, you can then use "Paste Button Image" in customizing the menus...

    Thanks,
    Chuck
