more template questions

I have tried to make some changes that are apparently not a part of the template (using ppt2k) and hoping that they will rub off on the presentations to which I apply the template. It isn't working.

For instance I want to have the following elements in all of my presentations:
1.
An Action button hyperlinked to corporate web site

Different Colors for bullets

Am I missing something in the template game, or do I really have to go into each and every file and manually add all of these things?

Thanks for your help.

Re: more template questions

A template can include sample slides which could contain an action button. For some peculiar reason, an action button can't be placed on a Master slide; even though a shape with action settings (like a link to a website) can. Go figure ...
For different bullet colours, again the most efficient way to do this is to go to the Master and edit the bullets there.

Are you working with the Master slide view currently?

Re: more template questions

Thanks Catharine, that answered my problem.
I linked the corporate website to an action setting on the logo on the slide master. There's a no-brainer for you.

I also edited the bullets from the master slide. Works great. I think that previously I edited only the slides on the template and not the master.

Thanks again,
ariel
