Find Alpha Characters (2002)

I have a field in a database that is 13 characters long........I want to find any of the records that contain an alpha character.......I would like to do this in a query if possible....the alpha character could be a-z and in any of the 13 spots.....is there a way to do this?? Thanks

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

Create a query based on your table.
Add the fields you need, including the field you want to filter on.
Set the criteria for this field to

    Like "*[a-z]*"

Note: by default, criteria are NOT case-sensitive, so the above will accept a-z and A-Z.

I knew it was something simple and just couldn't seem to come up with it today.

    Thank you!
