    NAV 2005 Activation

I installed AND activated NAV 2005 on 26 Aug 2005.

A few minutes ago, a screen popped up stating that I had to activate to continue using the product.

Anybody know of a solution to avoid this nonesense?

    Stop purchasing Symantec products?

Why not activate again? First turn on your favorite file system and registry monitoring tools and see what gets updated. Then you can have that handy for future reference.

This is a "Flaw" with their activation, some program updates will kick this in and all you need to do is the reactivate.

NO, it has happen to several machines at different points that we have and to other people that I have heard from. The fix is to reactivate.

Note: we are moving away from Symantec as our different machines need to be upgraded.

    Re: NAV 2005 Activation

    Happened again last night.

I installed Firefox 1.0.7 and Opera yesterday.
Wonder if such installs trigger the problem?

Oh well, at least almost all major stock market indices are up at this time (Brazil and Thailand are down tho).

    Re: NAV 2005 Activation

I have not YET had a 3rd occurrence of the activation message.

Implication is that either the problem fixed itself, or the re-activation was triggered by installing a browser.

I guess we'll find out next time I install an update to Firefox or Opera.
