    Setting the Language (Word 2000)

Is there a Windows API function that will allow me to change the default language setting? If so, where can I find documentation for it? Thanks, Andy.

Why do you want to set the default language in code? Shouldn't that be the user's choice?

I mean set the language.. and probably re-set it afterwards. I'm not yet entirely sure as someone has asked me this question..

Do you want to set the language used for spell checking in Word (after all, your subject says Word), or the system language setting?

I want to set the System Language. I've got more info now.. What we're trying to do is set the language for a Date and Time Picker that we'll be sending to someone within a Word template.

I'm sorry, but I don't think you should do this. It is the user's responsibility to set the system language. I, for one, would be VERY irritated if an application changed my system language, even if only temporarily.
