    windows 98 setting

    Hi, I tried to set up a home network last night. windows XP with windows 98. my problem is I can read and open on my 98 machine the files I wanted to share from the xp , but when I go to my xp machine to read the shared files from my 98 the xp machine can not open it. Then I took it to a neighbors who has home networking and the same thing my windows 98 opened all the shared files from 3 different computers but none of the 3 could open my 98 shared files. There has to be some setting in my 98 machine that I
