    EULAlyzer

EULAlyzer will analyse license agreements for interesting words and phrases.

When you install software and the EULA comes up do you read it or just accept it and click next? With some software by agreeing to the EULA you may have agreed to install more than you bargained for.

EULAlyzer can analyse license agreements in seconds, and provide a detailed listing of potentially interesting words and phrases. Discover if the software you're about to install displays pop-up ads, transmits personally identifiable information, uses unique identifiers to track you, or much much more.

It comes from Javacool Software, the makers of SpywareBlaster.

    Re: EULAlyzer

This is a fun idea, but the interface sounds a bit tricky. How does it extract the license? Or do you copy and paste from a window displayed by the installer into EULAlyzer?

    Re: EULAlyzer

There is an icon on the EULAlyzer screen that you click and drag onto the EULA that you want to analyse, it then automatically copies the text into EULAlyzer. You can also use copy & paste.
