    A plus for Opera (8)

I found simething that Opera does better than either IE or Firefox,

I was in a daze most of this week deciding what car to buy, researching prices and ratings of xars, not eating properly, etc.
At one point, I went to the State Farm web site to look at the list of discounts offered in my state and top get a quote for the cars I was considering.

Perhaps. the particular web pages are non-standard (heck most web pages are likely non-standard), but Opera was the only one of th 3 browsers that correctly printed the pages.

IE, as it typically does, truncated text when printing in portait mode.
    Firefox was much worse.

So Opera wins on printing non-standard pages (at least those of this form).

You may try to reproduce this behavior by going to http://www.statefarm.com/insuranc/auto/discounts.htm and selecting thre info for some state/province.
I did this for NH and NY.

Re: A plus for Opera (8)

OK, I just found another thing that Opera does better than IE or Firefox.

Once per month, I save the usage stats for my account at my ISP.
I save as a text file.

The HTML for the displayed report is poorly formed, if not non-standard.

Firefox won;t even allow to save the page.
IE gives a warning about potential problems in saving,
Opera silently correctly saves the page.
