    Extra space added (2003)

When forwarding an e-mail, Outlook adds an extra space as I start typing. Is this a known issue? Or how can I turn it off? Thanks, Andy.

If you mean that an extra space is added when you click and type in the existing text of the message you're forwarding, this is done to offset your additions from the existing text. I don't think you can avoid this.
If you mean that an extra space is added when you start to type your own message at the beginning, I've seen this mentioned in the newsgroups but apparently nobody knows a solution.

I haven't noticed this in Outlook 2003, but my preferred format is plain text, which might have some effect.

I have noticed a blank line by default in Outlook Web Access (but I can't recall whether it affects both IE and Firefox, or just one or the other...).
